With decades of experience in public service, nonprofit development, and small business acceleration, he has led initiatives in real estate revitalization, small business incubation, and civic coalition-building across South Dallas and beyond. As the architect of the Elevate X Workforce Development Program, Dr. McConnell created a model that pairs affordable live-work housing with AI-powered business training, removing barriers to stability and entrepreneurship. His leadership reflects a deep commitment to collaboration, innovation, and accountability, empowering residents to build wealth, legacy, and long-term prosperity.

Cassandra Pickett is a dynamic force in real estate and television. Petronia Belmar is a TV and radio personality, podcaster, and Assistant Partner CEO with The SBN – The Small Business Network. She also serves as an Ambassador of MBC’s List, a network marketing professional, and an independent distributor for It Works!, a global health and wellness company operating in 19 countries for over 20 years. Her product offerings include solutions for weight management, digestive health, joint support, and the enhancement of hair, skin, and nails, as well as energy and lifestyle balance. In addition to her professional roles, Petronia is an ordained minister, gospel recording artist, wife of a pastor, mother, and grandmother who values family, faith, and life’s journeys.
Elaine King is a registered nurse, ordained minister, and dynamic speaker with degrees in both Nursing and Theology. Known for her “E Factor” approach—educating, engaging, enlightening, encouraging, and empowering—she delivers authentic and faith-driven messages of hope. She is the author of To God Be the Glory and Picking Up the Pieces, and has shared her ministry across the U.S., Israel, Africa, Rome, and beyond. Through her platform, Elaine also advocates for those impacted by narcissistic abuse and unhealthy relationships, offering guidance, truth, and healing.
Tori Mason born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is an ambassador of SBN and a TV and radio personality with The Small Business Network Podcast. An experienced entrepreneur, she has led ventures including Dogonit Food Vending Services, Mason Investments LLC (Airbnb services), Elegant Eggs (drop-shipping), and Vibes Motivational Journals & Marketing. She is now the creator and producer of Tori Talks Podcast Briefs, where she continues to share inspiration and entrepreneurial insight.

Jamie McConnell – Director and second-generation leader at MBC DevCorp, blends creativity, operational precision, and vision to advance the organization’s mission. She leads initiatives in community development, digital engagement, and youth empowerment across District 109 and beyond. With expertise in design, media strategy, and civic outreach, Jamie ensures MBC DevCorp’s platforms embody transparency, legacy, and transformation. Her leadership bridges innovation with continuity, carrying forward the McConnell family’s blueprint for scalable impact.
Garciaparra McConnell – Director at MBC DevCorp, is a rising talent in both music and civic leadership. A gifted R&B/Pop/Neo Soul artist, she began singing at age seven and has performed at major events such as Cinco de Mayo in Dallas and the BET Experience in Atlanta, where she was selected as one of five standout artists from a pool of 500. Her debut single Haunt Me highlights her vocal range and emotional depth, earning acclaim across platforms. At MBC DevCorp, she drives youth engagement, cultural programming, and community outreach across District 109, embodying the organization’s values of legacy, innovation, and service.
